4L and 6L capacities

Five 4L models offer a nominal output of 1 L/h. The 6L WD-SM716 is listed at 1.3 L/h.

Distillation and collection

Water is heated to form vapor, cooled to condense, and collected in a separate jug. The supplied 4L manual shows an activated-carbon filter in the outlet path.

Finish options

Choose white, polished stainless steel, red painted stainless steel, champagne gold painted stainless steel or matte stainless steel, depending on the model.

Matching collection capacity

The brochure lists a 4L collecting jug for the 4L models and a 6L jug for WD-SM716.

4L cycle control

The supplied 4L manual describes automatic shutoff at the end of a distillation cycle and over-temperature cutoff at 160°C.

Routine tank maintenance

The removable top cover allows access to the boiling chamber for rinsing and descaling. Follow the cleaning instructions for the supplied model.

Output figures are nominal brochure values and vary with operating conditions. Electrical supply is available in 110V or 220V versions; confirm the ordered version and nameplate before use. The supplied operating manual specifies the 4L / 750W configuration.

How distillation works

Water is heated to vapor, cooled to condense, and collected as distilled water. The 4L manual shows an activated-carbon filter in the outlet path.

Applications

On-site preparation of distilled water for compatible equipment and cleaning workflows where distilled water is specified. Verify the produced water against the connected equipment manufacturer’s requirements before use.

Care and operation

For the supplied 4L configuration: do not exceed the maximum water level. Keep the unit dry and ventilated, and do not open the top cover during operation. Let it cool before opening, cleaning or refilling; the manual specifies cooling below 70°C before restarting.

Rinse and wipe the chamber daily, remove mineral scale regularly and service the outlet filter according to the model-specific instructions.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a 4L cycle take?

The supplied 4L manual states approximately four hours for 4L, depending on environmental conditions. Allow for startup and cooling before refilling. The nominal production rate is 1 L/h.

Are the units automatically compatible with both 110V and 220V?

The brochure lists 110V and 220V options. These should be treated as separate electrical versions unless the actual nameplate confirms otherwise. Specify your voltage and frequency when ordering.

Can I use the distilled water in a steam sterilizer?

Use it only after confirming that its measured quality meets the sterilizer manufacturer’s water requirements. The supplied documents do not include a measured conductivity or purity guarantee.

How should the unit be maintained?

For the 4L configuration, the manual recommends daily tank rinsing and wiping, regular descaling and filter replacement every two to three months. Follow the model-specific manual and adjust servicing to water quality and use.

Can the unit run continuously for 24 hours?

Do not interpret the brochure’s daily capacity as a continuous-duty rating. The 4L manual requires cooling before opening and refilling and specifies cooling below 70°C before another cycle.

Should the first batch be used?

The supplied 4L manual instructs users to discard the first batch after initial setup. Follow the instructions supplied with the ordered model.
